Q: Does ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® have any side effects?
A: Generally our customers report no side-effects with the capsules. We do recommend that you take them with meals to avoid any possible stomach upset. We also recommend that you divide 4-6 capsules throughout the day instead of taking them all at once.
Q: I have been using the ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® System for 4 months now and my skin is looking really clear, I am very pleased with the results. I was just wanting to know what will happen when I stopping taking the product? I took Accutane 2 years ago and my skin was good while I was on it but had I breakouts after I came off it?
A: The ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® System attempts to treat the root or source to the disorder, not just suppressing the problem to occur at a later date. Much research has gone into the formulation of the capsules. WE have combined the best or Ayurveda, Chinese Traditional and Modern Western medicine. ZENMED™ usually recommend clients to use the product full at dosage for at least 6-8 weeks to see any results. After the results have been achieved (maximum of 6 months), we recommend that you gradually stop the Derma Cleanse® capsules and continue with just the topical products (Gentle Cleansing Gel and Derma Cleanse® Acne Gel), dietary and lifestyle guidelines. In a few cases the acne may re-appear requiring further treatment. You may wish to start the capsules again at this time until you reach peak improvement.
Q: Does ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® work on all skin types including African American?
A: The ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® System is designed to work for all skin types and tones. There are no ingredients in our products that may cause bleaching, hyperpigmentation, or brown blotches. In fact, our entire skincare line is ideal for enhancing true skin tone and creating balance.
Q: Can I use other skin or internal products while using the ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® System?
A: We do not recommend using the ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® capsules with any acne medication you may be taking internally (ie. Antibiotics, Accutane). Please consult with your doctor before starting any new supplement program. The capsules are however safe with birth control pills. As for skin products, do not use products that may contain Benzoyl Peroxide, Sulphur, Retin-A, AHA’s, and glycolic acid with using the ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® Acne Gel as this will possible irritate the skin.
Q: How long does it take for ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® to work?
A: When you use the entire system (The Derma Cleanse® capsules, Facial Cleansing Gel, and Acne Gel), you should start seeing fantastic results after about 6-8 weeks of consistent use. Remember that overnight cures are not possible with acne, you must be consistent with treatment and maintenance. We believe the results will be worth it.
Q: How do the ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® capsules work?
A: The ingredients in the Derma Cleanse® capsules are formulated to naturally regulate your hormone levels (often the entire reason for you suffering from acne in the first place), relax your nervous system, and stimulating your immune system to help destroy the bacteria that promotes acne.
Q: I am thinking about having a baby. How long should I wait after using these capsules to attempt conceiving.
A: We would recommend that you stop using them just as a safety precaution. Since the Derma Cleanse® capsules are not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers, we would have to suggest the same for those in your predicament. Always talk to your doctor about taking anything when planning to become pregnant.
Q: I am thinking about using your product and have 2 questions. How long before I see results? And will it make it worse at first? I am currently using the Murad Regiman and taking Murad vitamins for clear skin , and I am on my third week and its seems to have gotten worse.
A: Generally speaking, a herbal powder formula is absorbed into the small intestinal tract after 2-3 days of ingesting the product. It is accurate to say that results can appear within 2 days to 1 week of use. Occasionally with inflammatory skin disorders a condition may periodically appear worse before it improves, believed to be possibly due to a release of toxins eliminated from the body. But do not panic, this is usually a good sign. We are not familiar with the Murad Regimen, however we would recommend asking more questions with regards to a possible allergy or reaction to this product since vitamins rarely ever cause results like the ones you speak of. In Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, the condition of the skin always indicates imbalances internally within the body.
Q:My 15 year old son is currently taking natural products including Chastetree, and other liver cleansing herbs. His acne is at a point where our doctor has suggested Accutane He does not want to take it, and neither do I. The current regime he is on is holding steady, but he would like to see more improvement. I have ordered your product and am excited to have found it. I know Chinese medicine works from personal experience. My question is what of these products should he discontinue when we receive your product?
A: We recommend the ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® System as only a complete product. I might suggest only using one product at a time to better gauge results and also since our formula has some of these ingredients in it already, you may be overdosing. The Chastetree berry (already in our formula) is especially useful in treating adolescent acne due to its ability to regulate hormones and the endocrine system. Liver cleansers are a good idea as well. What the ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® System can offer additionally is botanicals in it’s Gentle Cleansing Gel and Derma Cleanse® Gel that also reduce swelling and pus, open pores, relax the nervous system and eliminate toxic heat from the body (Chinese Medical terminology). The combination of all of these actions is essential to the success of treating acne. This is a balanced formula that will not cause any adverse reactions if taken correctly.
Q: For the ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® capsules, it says take 6 capsules daily. Do I take 6 at once or spread them out throughout the day?
A: Firstly, herbal powders are best consumed with food. We recommend taking ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® with your meals three times a day or twice a day in the morning and again in the evening.
